I'm taking a late lunch today because Chad's at a Kiwanis meeting until 1:30 pm. And I didn't want an early lunch.

I have major cramps today. Why? Why must women be made this way? It is not efficient to have us in pain part of every month. It's crazy. Just like the appendix, no point. Oh, there's a point, all right, but couldn't it be easier? Sometimes I wish I were a guy. They have no problems. They sail right through every month, easy-peasy.

Just when things start to slow down around here, they start picking up. So yes, back to work.
