Lots of Pain

Amy is happy with the titles, like I thought. So am I. Is the font still tiny for everyone? Sorry.

I have totally solved the phone jack extension problem. I swapped my phone jack with my parents' phone's phone jack extension cord. It is incredibly long. So I am stretching smack in the center of my room with my bed as my backrest, using my usual 18 pound weights per leg (to hold them in place), and I am getting a very good stretch. Very painful though.

Other problems in my life abound. They are:

1. Daddy's birthday card. I might have gotten one already. I have to see. If not, get by tomorrow night.

2. Festivist. Major sucks.

3. Xmas cards. This should not be a problem, but I'm not in any kind of position to get cracking on this now, and after I stretch I'm going straight to bed. I'm tired too. (That's #4.)

5. In pain, in pain, in pain!

I didn't stretch yesterday. I did, but not really. So I'm trying to make up for that. I am noticing improvement finally. I have a long way to go though. But my legs feel healthier.

Oh...

6. Wrap presents.

Tonight I skated my usual route and then some. It was barely sprinkling at first and then it started really raining. Not pouring, but almost. I was warm enough -- wet -- but warm enough. I was just worried about my new discman. I had on my red knit hat, my gray vest sweatshirt (the discman under that), a turtleneck, and my snowpants. Some snowpants. The water went right through them.

Like I said, I was worried about my discman. So I rolled into the drugstore at the corner of Monterey and Washington but no ponchos there. Then I went to the $1.00 store that used to be H & H Craft. This is how desperate I was to save my discman from ruin. No ponchos, but many looks from customers. Oh, f--k it -- I skated home in the heavy rain...and my discman is fine.

Legs hurt hurt hurt hurt hurt. Yow.

Oh, I listened to my new Coldplay CD. I don't mean the CD is new, I mean it's new to me. It's my first Coldplay CD too. It's good. I don't know the songs on it, like I said it was raining and I wasn't able to check. But they were good.

Wow, I just "released" my legs from the weights. They immediately feel better. I wonder if it's a blood flow problem. Hopefully that stretch did something though.

Now my legs are in slow motion. I'm trying to move them together but they're like nope. We're tired. Leave us alone.

I called Marcello tonight. We're going to meet sometime next week. He has the flu but sounded OK. I like him because he's enthusiastic about things.

I'm nodding off...good night world.
