Taking online spelling tests.
I don't remember the webpage but just type "spelling" into yahoo and there you have it.
Last night I watched "Spellbound." It ranks right up as one of my favorite documentaries. I can't exactly remember other ones I've watched, but it was pretty darn good.
It's all about our National Spelling Bee. It's really quite exciting.
I took an online test and missed 13 out of 50 commonly misspelled words. What a do-do. But I'm not surprised. (I also had to look up "misspell." I thought it was mispell.)
I am going to try to improve my spelling.
Apparently, I'm like a lot of people -- we misspell words because of all the simple parts involved. Example: -tent, -tant, -tence, -tense, -tance, etc. Or get screwed up with double consonants (also had to look that up.) Example: harass / harrass, embarrass / embarass, comittee / committee.
(It's harass, embarrass, committee. But I knew those ones. Okay, except harass.)
Also, my pens keep disappearing. I'm on my last black ballpoint and only have one blue left (which is big, heavy, and annoying.) The rest are pink, green, and purple. Maintaining a professional appearance around here is a struggle.
I wonder if everyone's (JEN) back from China yet?
