What's new?

Hewwo, hewwo.

Hung out with my 4 year old nephew over the weekend. We went to the Post Office, which was closed. Then we played in the park, where I got bonked on the head by another kid's foot (it was a crowded park and I was under a tunnel.) Then we played a stop-and-go game on the long walk home. (I didn't quite understand the rules, but that's OK. Alex kept me informed of them, oh, every 5 seconds.) Thank goodness I had the stroller.

Today has been a big slack day. Perhaps you can tell, as I am blogging at 3:17 in the afternoon.

I have two friends who are in China right now. Hope they're having fun. I wonder if it's really hot there?

Tomorrow evening I might (OK, probably will) buy a violin. Shhhhh. Do not tell my parents, they will freak. Not because I'm a spendaholic (the violin is used and cheap), not because I don't know how to play the violin (uh...I don't), not because the violin will no doubt be extremely screechy when I - ahem - attempt to play it. No. My parents will freak because "there's no room for it!"

(Not true. I can fit it in my closet, or under my bed, or on the floor in my bedroom next to everything else in the world I own.)

Tonight I have my first acting class with Tom Bentley. I hope I like it.

I'm on the pay-off-the-car-as-soon-as-possible plan. It is leaving me quite broke. It's hard to believe me when I say that because of all my current purchases, but it's true. Except for the violin, acting classes, and dinners out with my friends (which are a MUST as that's the only time I ever get to see them), oh yeah, and gifts, I'm not spending a cent! I have kept this up for one week already ...only spending money when I really havta. (Postage doesn't count either...I was selling books on half.com.)

So I'm getting pretty sick of homemade lunches. My choices are so...dismal. Mac n Cheese. Tuna fish sandwich. (Although that's yummy, but I *am* trying to be a vegetarian.) Toast. Soup. Leftovers. That's my staple diet now.

I miss my friends.
