quick update

Now have pink hair. Pink hair, baby!

Also, congrats to Kathy & Mark, 5 year anniversary. Have to send card soon.

This weekend we filmed "Just Friends."

It is "just cheesy."

It is also "just dumb."

I hope it turns out okay. It was fun.*

Sets & costumes were great.**

Dialogue..well, Lisa's read the dialogue and I believed she winced. But overall I think it will work.***

It's in post now and should be ready for its world premiere in a month or so.****

*Despite having to put up with many people's smarmy dirty-minded jokes. I feel like I've been living in an innocente vaccuum all my life. This one person just couldn't stop. It was really unbelievable in a way. Seriously. It was very roll-your-eyes and I-can't-believe-they-think-that's-funny on my part. I'm so glad my friends' humour is -how shall I put this?- actually funny. And clean for the most part. It's draining to be around someone like that, seriously draining. Other than that, 'twas fun! The Director ran a very professional shoot, fast, organized, cheerful, upbeat, supportive, 'twas great!

**The locations rocked. We ended up with an even better restaurant location than what was arranged. It was supposed to be at an Ethiopian restaurant but I guess the owner got greedy about $$ and renegged on the deal. So our director saved the day and secured another location, which was even better, the day before we were set to shoot. Yay! The script was changed to reflect the Cuban restaurant and the Premiere will be held there. $20 a plate of delicious authentic Cuban food plus all the razz & dazz of going to a Premiere. Ooooo.

***Hope so at least. Will be choose-y of material in future.
