mostly about curry, my love

I'm being very good and blogging at my lunch instead of on company time. I should actually be writing thank you notes right now (afterall I did bring them to work expressly so I could write them at lunch) but one can only be so good for so long.

I'm eating my favorite meal in the entire world. That's right.

Naan N Curry.

To be exact:

mixed vegetable curry
garlic/onion seasoned okra (curry?)
roti bread

YUMYUMYUM!

I wish they had Naan N Curry in San Leandro. One time I ordered curry, vegetables, and rice from Another Indian Place and had it home delivered. It cost $20 and it was NO WHERE near the quality of my beloved Naan N Curry. It was mostly liquidy-soupy-kind of curry with teeny vegetables floating around and white white rice.

Anyway, enough about curry.

I had a great long weekend. Thanks Lisa & Greg! I'm so sorry Greg got sick as a dog. Poor thing. But I had fun snowboarding horribly in Tahoe and losing $2 gambling in Reno. And I saw a cool show in Reno that was totally worth the $27. And my neck is better because of this great masseuse I paid for at Circus Circus. Totally worth it.

By the way, I have since figured out that it was IAN THE BAD DANCER who was to blame for throwing my neck out when he insisted on dipping me repeatedly (even though I kept shouting at him to knock it off) when we were dancing (heh, or he was TRYING to) a week ago for my birthday. Anyway, my poor, innocent cat and mattress are not to blame, it was all Ian's fault. And, as I've already complained to many of you, the little twerp hasn't even called so I can chew him out about it. Not that I want him to call. I don't. He's a gross, bad dancer but the point is, I can't bitch about it to him.

Oh, also! I had the best burrito on the way back from Reno at this place in Albany called Gourmet Burrito (I think.) It was so yummy. Mixed vegetables, black beans, rice, little cheese, and honey curry! :)

One last thing about Circus Circus - the Midway prizes were a disappointment. Just teddy bears everywhere. Even the feline stuffed animals looked like teddy bear bodies with cat heads. It was ridiculous. Poor Greg tried to win Lisa a giraffe (she loves giraffes like I love cats) and the only thing they could find was a dinosaur/giraffe. But he won her two little teddy bears.

It was really, really nice to get away for a bit.
