ok. here's the psycho cat story:

yesterday stu & i walked to the pet store by our house. stu likes fish and i just wanted to check the place out.

so they don't have cats or dogs there, just fish, reptiles, bunnies, birdies, etc.

but they have a store cat

(this is the one on E 14th)

so anyway, i found the store cat huddled up in a cat tree. it's this BIG orange cat. so of course i made friends with it and cuddled with it and it was the most lovable thing in the world. stu & i were amazed, i mean, seriously, it was in LOVE with me, licking, purring, trying to jump into my arms, i'm not kidding. we were saying we should just walk out the door with it, obviously it found its true love (moi :)

so i held it and sauntered around the store and everyone was having a grand ol' time except my arms were getting tired because the cat weighed more than my nephew andy.

stu asked someone its name and they said "Trouble"

Trouble? ha! more like "Love Bucket" we joked.

so then i decided to finally put it down because my arms were dying.

and then:

PSYCHO CAT!!

my goodness, you never saw such a jekll & hyde. the cat started scratching, hissing, swiping at my pant legs, unbelievable. stu & i were cracking up because we couldn't believe it. i tried to calm the thing down. remember me? you loved me like a minute ago? didn't work. the only thing we could do was back away.

so we were laughing about it and leaving and we look back and the cat still hissed at me!

what the heck happened?

yeah, that was funny. next time one of you peeps is over our place we'll take you down there and you can meet Trouble yourself.

stu or i or both of us needs to get a digi camera so i can post pics of my room, the apt, the creek, and Trouble. we'll try to catch him in a good mood and a bad mood so you can judge for yourself.

on a totally different note, we still have pink paint left and stu had the idea we could paint the bathroom pink.

but hmm.. then my room might not feel as special..

well, we'll see.
