It's sa-low-ly coming along.

I took the paint tape off last night - only left the trim tape. I had to use a razor and tweezers, and was mighty angry at Stu again because it would have been a lot easier to do this all at once, before the paint had really dried the blue tape to the walls.

I also re-arranged the furniture, now that I have an airbed, and this set-up is better.

Also finished laundry, organized the sock drawer (at least) and some others, and put all the wall hangings/pictures in the closet until I can put them up when the walls are ready.

What's left:

Paint the trim
that will take a while. And this weekend I have 4 rehearsals..

Paint touch-ups

Really get my drawers in order.
sounds spicy, n'cest pa?

Put my wall pictures up.
Can't wait for that!

Get rid off all the paint stuff.
Yay!

I also realize I have way too many candles. They are fighting for attention with my shot glasses. The San Leandro room had a long ledge where everything got it's due. It's all clutter here.

So lots of burning of candles to do, too.

The air-mattress bed is PERFECT. And that's because I can just pop it up against the wall if I want more room. And voila! Space enough to somersault, practice the splits, sprawl out. And it's so light, not like dropping a teeny fortune (which I ain't got nowadays anyways) on a futon and then having to deal with all the struggle of that. So thanks again, Amy. :)

The sockets in this room are retardedly located. I'll have to work something out. Also, eventually I'll need a brainy-type person to help me with my tv. Any volunteers? I never did figure out how to actually get channels (i.e. have a working tv) in the San Leandro room. I could only watch DVDs or videos. And then the DVD player was stolen but I think I have some cable/wires from it...or maybe they're the tv's? ..basically I can't make heads or tales of it all.

I haven't checked my phone but I think Stu finally stopped calling. Thank goodness!

Still have a LOT of lines to learn, which I guess should be my priority, but it's very hard when you don't feel settled.

And after all that, need to get an SF job.

I'm so happy I have Monday off! Mostly off.. I'll be able to get a lot done. Hopefully.

This is it. No more updates about the room. Life goes on and I have to learn to be patient.
