fish, what else?

checked out 4 fish books and 1 hitchcock movie from the sl main library last night.

too much info to soak up about fishes. it doth swimmeth in mine head.

i do remember that fishes' scales are clear, their skin gives them their color, scales are also the heaviest part of a fish, aquaria is the plural form of "aquarium," and it is okay and good and correct to call more than one fish in a frying pan "fish." but more than one fish swimming around somewhere are "fishes," not "fish" unless you mean only one of them.

i don't want to invest in a heater.. maybe i should do the whole ph water test thing though.. maybe i should just talk to a fish store guy.

i also have some idea of what kind of fishes to get too now. i'm thinking lemon tetra.

i feel another saunter around a fish store coming on... wanna check out gravel choices and take another gander at the fishes, book in hand for reference.

soon i will have pets! YAAAAY!!!!
