5 minutes, 7 seconds

That would be the new record over at ABC Bartending for the speed test.

Ahem... set by Moi! :) tonight.

I don't know how many drinks I made but I broke the school's previous record of 5 minutes, 10 seconds by 3 seconds. !!!

Then I got 2 1/2 wrong on the written test. I couldn't name two domestic beers. I named Budweiser and then drew a blank, so I guessed St. Paully (thinking it could be made in St. Paul... maybe it's St. Polly... who knows.) Anyway, WRONG. I also didn't know any Champagnes... and Jagermeister (or something like that) is Cough Medicine, not Cinnamon... I guess the domestic/imported beer thing should be common knowledge but I missed it! But then I got weird stuff right, like Frangelico is Hazelnut, etc.

Anyway, I am now Certified!! Yay for me. And I have my first bartending job this Saturday! I have to wear "black and white" which means snazzy... It's for a wedding reception. I am excited.

Accross the street from the school there is a crab apple tree and Saleem, who is 6 feet, 6 inches tall, picked a bag of crab apples and I tried a couple. They were a little sour. There was some debate over whether or not they are crab apples, but I say they are. But what I mean is he just reached out his hand, like a giant, and picked from the top branches. He used to play basketball in Lebanon. I have never met anyone that tall.

We all passed, all 4 of us, so that's good. That was a fun little class.
