Today I poured over last quarter's sales tax and found the mistake! We owe more $. Yes, I realize it was I who made the mistake, but I felt just brilliant finding and solving the problem. What happened was I put in the sales total without the freight instead of with the freight. Genius, Pure Genius! I'm not even sure how I figured it out. Funny I don't feel too bad for making the mistake in the first place. "One must choose one's battles.." or other dorky quote..

Also,

Last night, the clouds parted and a sunbeam shone down on me and smiling faces did something miraculous -- offered me a job!

Details, my dears, will follow when all things are settled.. as in, I'm pretty sure I'll be working as a bartender soon... but I'm not Totally, Totally Sure.. and I don't have all the info yet anyway, but once I do, or more like, once I KNOW for sure, I'm there, it's it, and it's happening, then y'all will know too.

Oh, heck. It's in Oakland at Jack London Square, a new nightclub called Simone.. or Samone... it's run by these 5 or 6 giants (I swear, they were ALL TALL and big).. they own the building and also 5-6 other nightclubs in SF and Sunnyvale - City Nights, The Music Factory, and others I forget.. so they have lots of experience.. they were very nice and gave us a great orientation and this is beautiful, I mean, just lovely - they're thrilled that we're beginners and they WANT to train us :) Isn't that delightful? Sigh..

I am so blessed lately.
