Suddenly

I find myself very busy. I have a lot to learn for Bubba Gumps. I like it. Shrimp this, shrimp that, it's all fun.

Tonight I'm going out with Lorraine, tomorrow I'm going to see Corpse! I'm once again excited about it as Steve was telling me yet again what a good show it was. Also, I'm happy to be a part of Avalou, although I hope we find some more good actors who can commit to it.

This weekend will be all about studying.

My, this is a bit scattered, huh? Oh well.

Last night Dayni and I had dinner and then I bought jeans for my new work. I've never had to buy jeans for work before but it's a fun experience. I also bought bulk tp, paper towels, and napkins. Dayni got these half-socks popular with Jen H.

Before that I got some slip-resistant shoes.

I think about now I'll stop spending money... except for some other necessities.

My last day technically will be Tuesday, Nov. 8th, why, that's my b-day! :)

But then I'll be back in to train whomever, but it's gonna be around MY schedule. Ah, what bliss.. never again will I feel a whit of guilt for coming to work a little late...

Claire may take my job, but that's up in the air. She wants to work for a vet that's closer to her home, and I don't blame her. But if that falls through, she'll probably end up here, which I think could work out well for both the company and her. I'm happy to be helping her because I know she's capable and smart and probably would appreciate having some office experience. But if Claire can't take the job, I'll try Dayni's friend.

At any rate, I'm just glad I won't have to be commuting. Can I get a big "Woo-hoo!?" (I remember Candy from the study abroad was famous for that exclamation, so I always think of her when I say it. Er, think it. Woo-hoo! No commute!)

So I'm finally, FINALLY getting settled in the city, which means more time to devote to stuff I've been putting off. Like, I want to paint the interior of my place, have another garage sale, work on Avalou, do art, read more, sell my car and buy a (hopefully) vespa or (if not, at least) a moped, and so on...

purrrrrrrrrrrr............

I think it'd also be fun to take a dance class (again.)
