I didn't think I'd be blogging so much.. the kids are in bed and today I was better. I got up kinda late though and took it easy (read=respected my tummy) with the food.
I got to play a bit with the boys and we went to Thanksgiving Point, which has a dinosaur museum, cute indoor shops (heated), a movie theatre, Christmas lighted path (but costs 7 bucks so we didn't drive through it), beautiful gardens (except it's winter), and a nice restaurant or two. Basically, a fun place to go in Utah. Andy grabbed a kid stoller with a teddy bear and happily wandered around. He's fun to watch because he gets VERY absorbed in whatever he's up to at the moment, and yet he can be so easily distracted. He is also slightly persnickity. For instance, a drop of water fell on his shirt so he wanted to be changed. I took his shirt off, not realizing his mom hadn't brought a spare, and he started pulling down his perfectly dry jeans, exposing his pull-ups. He's so cute waddling around.
Alex is also fun. We played a few board games now that he can read, count, and become quite a stickler for the rules. And Alex won everything!
And, best of all, today, as I was all better, I got to hold the babies again. (Have I yakked about them lately? What? No??) Well, there's Sir Ry-Ry, our youngest (by less than a minute) Devlin baby, and his very Irish twin, slightly smaller Seany Boy. My mom and I had a lot of fun singing baby songs to them. My mom learned them from my grandma so these songs are probably about 100 years old. I'm going to write them down and learn them.
I'm going to miss it here. I love my fam.
