The first night

I will not turn on my electric heater, not even halfway.

* * *

I am majorly freaking. This is normal, considering the circumstances.* Luckily there is a distractingly huge pile of laundry, mail, artwork, and other odd items which need to be put away or dealt with, and my freakoutingage can be delayed.

But aaaaiiiii! I am still freaking!!!

*Circumstances: the magazine internship I interviewed for and thought went well has requested samples of my writing of which I HAVE NOT PREPARED. EECK! (FREAK!!!) 'Nuff said.

* * *

Other news: I attempted to get a CD-player installed in my car. Well, by that I mean I bought one and had Best Buy Installation guy install it, which he must have done improperly because the CD part doesn't work! GRRRRRR.... And tomorrow, instead of fixing that mess, I'll be Freaking out some more, trying to dig out brilliant, shiny, divinely-inspired, Goddess-touched writing samples that I - ahem - wrote.

* * *

More car-related news: I accidently turned into a curb on my left (no one was hurt or around, I seriously had a dirty windshield and thought it was the left-turn lane) and also have to get my wheels aligned now. :( Stupid, poorly prepared moi.

* * *

But there is great news!!

Best of all: My grandma DOESN'T need surgery! Isn't that great? Things are going well and she's happy and feeling fine. She goes home tomorrow, actually.

One must always keep perspective.

Actually, now I feel a lot better and am no longer freaking out. Love Grandma.
