Jarosch, a customer with a heavy accent somewhere in the heart of Germany, called and tried to order way back in the middle of December and for some reason I was never able to get back in touch with him - the phone number didn't work, the email bounced, different alterations of the email would bounce, etc. We needed his serial numbers for his upgrades so it was pretty maddening to find the whole order had to be halted because he was suddenly unreachable.
He called yesterday puzzled about what happened with his order. I refused to let him off the line and explained our dilemma. I had him re-spell his name, company name, and email. Finally it dawned on me. "Did you mean 'g' as in 'garden'?" I asked. "No," he said. "'G' as in 'Jurassic Park.'"
!
That explained everything, except the phone number - I think the problem there was the international code wasn't clear either.
Anyway, things have been settled and a German now knows how to pronounce "J."
