Just an update

By the way, Lisa, cute snowpeoples and I'm cool with whatever last name you want. Good luck on your talk Jen and hope things go well with your decisions.

I caught some of the Oscars. After my rehearsal I was extremely thirsty. I thought I'd get a chai somewhere and lounge and read over the play or one of my other books. I headed to the Sunset because I also wanted to buy a book/diary to record dreams. (You're supposed to be able to learn from them, intuitively in a way.) I wanted to go to a nice book store/stationary store, but forgot it was after 6pm on a Sunday, so I ended up getting my chai, lounging a little, then realizing I was starving. Oh, I got a notebook at Walgreens that'll work just fine. So then I went to a Chinese restaurant that initially scared me, because it smelled fishy (not good sign for vegans) but they had a big flat screen TV and what do you know, the Oscars are on! I watched Al Gore win and was happy about that. I couldn't quite hear everything that was said, the servers were kinda making a racket. It's kind of weird to see characters you've seen from movies being different people all in the same room. Ok, just slightly, not a huge deal, but just celebrities, celebrities.

I took Regina to my pad last night. Traumatizing for the both of us. I thought she'd be happier here than alone in an empty house with too much food for 4 days. Up until right now, she's spent most of her time either in a dark recess in the closet, or under my bedspread. I could coax her out for a minute but the next I know, she slips away again. Poor thing. I hope she gets used to my room quickly so the whole thing will be an improvement on her prior situation.

Oh yeah. Earlier today I had my mozaic class. That was fun. It's multimedia so it was playing with clay time. I made a rose, some hearts, a vase with a rose to put on the wall, and textures to paint and break to add to my table when I start that part of the class. Fun to be creative. But honestly, I spent the 2 hours mulling over how my rehearsal would go later.

But it went ok. My scene partner and I wanted a session with Andrew and I think it really helped us, although we actually didn't get terribly far into our scene. I like his input though, very insightful and encouraging. I guess I was worried because when we had gone up we were very unprepared. It sort of couldn't be helped/was our own fault (the moving, the car accident, she didn't have her play, I went to Hawaii, etc etc etc.) Ah, excuses.

:( Cat's disappeared again. Cuddle time.

I forgot to say about Amy coming over Friday, that was fun. Been a loooooong time. It was great to see her and we did much catching up, talked 'til 3am. I wasn't even that tired when we finally decided to call it a night. Weird, because any other time I'm up 'til 3am I'd be first crazy-giddy, and then falling over sleepy.

Anyway, hope everyone is well.
