funny you should blog that, J

this morning I doddled when waking up and getting dressed and missed my cut-off time to head for the bus. Oh well, I'll drive, I thought -- get gas while I'm at it 'cuz I know my car needed it and I still was early enough.

So I doddle my way to my car, drive to the gas station, pop the gas cover, reach in my backpack for my wallet and -- wait. No wallet?

At least I was only about 6 blocks away, not poor J's fiddy miles. No more doddling! Home I go, get wallet, get gas, and head to work -- concentrating on driving carefully rather than speeding, and I wasn't terribly late. I even found ok parking. So things basically worked out.

In other news, I am getting more and more organized. Today a tenant in the building, going out of business, was giving away free office stuff. Too bad I'm not in need of an office chair. There were about 5 to chose from. Anyway, I got me some purty maroon in and out boxes (you know, stacking desk trays.) I was just thinking recently that two more desk trays would be helpful, but how often do you find maroon ones? I also got us some staples, tape, a stapler, and a big eraser that says For Big Mistakes. Love free stuff.

I could use another 2 hours sleep.

In the world of concinky-dinks, I too left my wallet at home -- Day of T-day. Mark brought it to me at 6:15 am.
