and I'm proud to be an SFian

Watched the debate tonight at the Balboa Theatre. They show them for free, and it's a great communal experience, yet another reason I love living in SF.

I think Obama did a good job again and I hope he wins. I see a good, strong leader in him. I think it would be best for our country to have someone who can explain and discuss issues rather than point fingers all the time. He makes good points, has plans and a record of serving the concerns of the middle class, and knows the value of diplomacy. He's relaxed in a high-pressure situation and took the stupid dings thrown at him with grace. He also has chosen a smart, passionate running mate and is supported by another wise humanitarian I admire, Warren Buffet.

I'm going to catch the next debate at the Balboa Theatre. Anyone who's interested, let me know, it's really fun! It's only a few blocks from where I live, but obviously you'd have to be able to get there at 6pm to see it (unless they change the time for the debate.)

I'm glad I live in a city that has companies and people who offer such a service.

It was my turn in the book club so I chose The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama. I look forward to reading it but haven't bought it yet. I've got a good coupon from Borders.

Just busy with this and that in life. I'll be seeing dear Regina more lately while my parents take care of my sis as she's getting her tonsils out. Hope you heal quickly, K.

Hope everyone has a good week and enjoys these last sweet days of warm weather.
