Yay! I got a good review on taskrabbit! I'm a happy bunny :)
Taskrabbit, for those of you who don't know, is this website popular in SF and Boston - people hire "runners" to do tasks they don't have time to, like cleaning, Costco runs, package delivery, paintings, car rides, wrapping gifts, addressing Christmas cards, you name it. So I signed myself up as a runner and I've already done 2 jobs this weekend and have another one for tomorrow evening (a Costco run - which is cool with me because I also have to return the too-loud heater anyways.)
I'm a new rabbit on the site, so I'm not sure how much to bid on stuff, but it's not bad money and kinda fun. I underbid for one task (not the one I got a review for, that one I'd say was just about right on) but I felt ok in the end cuz the girl I was helping out was nice and I ended up getting a small workout at least.
By the way, if you check out the website (www.taskrabbit.com) and have a task in mind, you can post it and include my code (PAL31686) and then you'll get $10 off (and I'll also get $10, even if I don't bid on your task or you go with someone else.) While it seems much more popular in SF itself, I have seen a couple postings for tasks outside the city.
So I still have stuff to do for myself, chore-wise, but things are cool.
Hope everyone is enjoying their respectively wet weekends :)
