Waited a long time at Taco Bell for food today. So I'm having it here at my desk. Yum. The taco has been finished off but I'm getting too full to eat the rest of the burrito.

While I was waiting, I was thinking that waiting is just as relative and subjective as anything else. I don't mean the actual time -- 10 minutes or whatever, but what it feels like.

It probably would have felt a lot faster if it looked like my Taco Bell friends were hustling their butts off. They weren't, and I think that's what made the wait feel so long. Not that it matters too much to me, I wasn't that late from lunch. But let's say they were really trying to hurry it up -- and the food still came out when it did -- would I have felt that it didn't take as long? That they were busy but handling it?

Too bad I have work to do and the fascinating topic of Taco Bell wait times must be dropped.
