painted the walls and ceiling with primer yesterday. i had to wear goggles for the ceiling. i took them off and had white specks on my nose, cheeks, and chin. i'm much more anal about the whole thing than stu. (jen can attest to my painting-analness). but oh well, it's just primer. tonight the pink goes up.
medium light pink for the walls, lighter pink for the closet, lightest pink for the trim. did i already tell you this? it feels repetitious..
after we painted we watched man on fire and ate veggie pizza. it took an hour to get the pizza! what was up with that.
i just want my room ready so i can move in and see what i do with myself when i'm on my own..ish.
after we finish painting, stu will take me to sf in his gigantanormous truck and we will visit every futon shop in the city. apparently, stu (sf native that he is) swears that the futon capital of the world is sf. and i might just shuck it all for this cool daybed i saw at ikea.
i'm also on the lookout for a green rug with pink. i know, watermelon colors. but in my head it works.
once the room is ready can i get someone with a digi camera to take a few pics and help me post them here? much appreciation in advance.
