I can't wait for it to be summer here. Our kitchen has a door that opens up to a little balconey with stairs. The creek is right outside. It's too cold now, but it will be nice when it's hot to have breakfast out there. Peaceful.

The paint dried to a lighter pink that I really like. Thank goodness!

The closet is a pale pink and the trim is nearly white, slightly purplish-pink.

So everything is coming together. I've finished the closet trim, the window sill, and just have to do the door trim. But I'm taking a break to blog and eat my leftover veggie burrito. Stu's cleaning out his massive truck. When he's done and I finish painting, we'll go to SF and futon hunt.

I'm also going to paint the ceiling the closet-color-pink. I think that will be cool.

I can't wait to vaccuum and clean the carpet, find an area rug, go wall-light hunting, get the futon, and move in! Also have lots of ideas about decorating the living room...bathroom (need to clean the tub)... I'm also on the lookout for a cool clock for the livingroom. Because I'm always wondering what time it is whenever I'm in there. Stu has a big ol' cool clock in the bathroom but not in the livingroom. ..maybe I can get him to make the switch? 8)

Stu has a lot of doll and toy stuff, like Kiss dolls, Star Wars dolls, Nightmare Xmas dolls, etc. He's really into music. He knows so much about music and he's always yakking about it, but I don't mind. He's very good to me and I'm feeling happier here.
