busy new year day 2

Very productive day...

Slept in until 11.

Went to new place.

Cleaned up all paint stuff. Touched up one little spot.

Ate sometin. Salad.

Went to IKEA. Bought shower organizers for bathroom and cute cute cute mirror for bedroom. (Has blue mosaic along outside rim - circle mirror. Tre cool.)

Went to Walmart and found pretty comforter.. reddish purplish.. and sheets.

Back at new place...

Scraped pink and white (primer) paint specks off wood lining along walls.

Vaccuumed the hell out the carpet (in my room and the hallway.)

Steamed cleaned carpet! YAY! (also hallway) TWICE!!

(took a while as occasionally forgot to turn on the soap dispensing part. DER.)

Carpet is much, much cleaner.

Put futon in bed.

Went to Safeway bought: red potatoes, honey, garlic clove, light bulbs, fruit rollup.

There is light! I have eaten!

Now..

Have to go back to Walmart and buy full-size comforter instead of queen-size. Stu says will probably fit better.

Also want to check out and buy a wall lamp.

That's it. Have not moved dresser/clothes/bath stuff/anything else basically because of the frickin' rain. And have TONS of rehearsals next week which means I'll probably just wait and move in next weekend. Hopefully it's sunny.

I LOVE decorating.

Thanks Jen H. for the 3 CDs & candy for Festivist. I can't wait to listen to them :), my car stereo CD player is still broken and I don't know where my room one is. I'll find it.

Stu is writing another song. He says I'm the inspiration. :) Lisa, do not fear. I made a joke and said that might be a lot to live up to, if you're going to get to know my as a roommate. (But the thing is, I'm neater and cleaner than him anyway. Probably than most people... yeah, you'd never know it, but I do get anal about these things. I'm OC, and I don't mean Orange County. Obsessive Compulsive. But I don't think I have the disorder part because I'm not nutty about it. Only occasionally.)

Anyway, on to mo' shoppin' baby!

I'm SO happy to be doing this right now, moving out, decorating, etc..
