your update

itchy cough, painful throat, achey tummy, sleepy disposition

chad is recuperating from surgery. he should be in bed but he's wandering around trying to get things done still. hope i don't get him sick.

i decided not to take the acting training with mr. utter. for monetary and time constraint and not-being-settled-in-the-city reasons. have other plans.

i got my fastrak thingy in the mail. i used it yesterday. nice to not have to worry about 3 dollars every commute.

something odd just happened. i went to the ladies room and was about to turn on the light and one of our tenants was in there, with the lights off, in a stall, with the door not shut! she said oh!! and that's when i saw her, so i said i'm so sorry and backed out as quick as possible. now here is the weird part - she had sunglasses on! i am not kidding, this has actually happened to me. why didn't she turn the light on? maybe she doesn't know there is one. but how could she be here for all these years and go potty in the dark all the time? you know what i do? i turn the light on, close the door, lock the door, go in the stall, close the stall door, lock the stall door, and then go about my business so i have complete and utter privacy. what is she doing with sunglasses on in the dark without the door shut!? maybe she kept the door to the bathroom open so she could have *some* light and forgot she had sunglasses on, no wonder she'd keep the stall door open then... what is she trying to do, save electricity? it's all very odd. she either feels too comfortable here or i am a complete prude. i just don't get it.

stupid throat hurts and is painfully itchy

anyone want to see cyrano de bergerac in berkeley this weekend? it's one of my favorite plays. it's free, sat or sunday at 4 pm. let me know. it's set in france. it's about a man with a big nose and a great personality and he's in love with his cousin but doesn't believe she could love him (on account of his noggin) so he woes her through this other dead-brained handsome guy who also loves her (but not really, truly) and i won't tell you the rest but it's very touching and well written. this one's an outdoor play by shotgun players in berkeley and the movie has gerard depardieu and is also really good. hmm.. maybe i'll find a link... yes, check is out:
