The Blue Angels practice right above my house! They soar by and rattle everything, loud, screaching something-barriers breaking until finally it dies off. Yesterday it kept coming back. Inside the house it makes my skin crawl, but outside, looking at them.. wooowww..
Biked in the park today. I found Polo Field, sort of a large stadium with sand above for running horses, and grass in the center, caged up of course, because you need a permit in order to play there. I biked around the cement track below the sand horse track five or six times. It was so large it took a while. Too bad I don't know my northerly/westernly-etc. directions, because at one end/corner of the stadium, there's old horse stables. They're all boarded up with signs saying DO NOT FEED THE HORSES and CAUTION HORSES BITE. Down a slope by the old stables was a few more buildings and some fields with metal fences where some Real Live Horses were chilling. I said hi.
Nearby Poro Field there was a free Blues Concert. But I didn't have a lock for my bike and I was getting cold so I didn't stay.
At the office Cristiano and Franco (my two bosses) are cautious about overloading me with work. As I might have mentioned they're very friendly. Occasionally they give me some work to do. I suppose I'll have more to do when I begin full-time hours next week. Today Franco showed me the kitchenette with a sink and microwave! How my heart did soar. I was also given my own set of keys. One for the back door, one for our office door, and one for the kitchenette. There is a code I've already memorized for the women's bathroom. For all this security, the building was still broken into earlier this week. Luckily nothing of ours was taken. I wonder if anything was taken. (I'll find out next week and deliver a full report.)
My sis and fam are coming next week! Yay!! I can't wait to see all my nephews.
Want to hear my cheesy standing nephew joke? (Please prepare yourself.)
Hey, you wanna see something exceptionally cute?
(Then I show them a pic of my nephew... or phews... You can just click the link to Kathy's blog and see what I mean.)
OKAY. So I don't have anything important to say. But it'll be great to see them again :)
