Italian Lesson

My mom has been wondering what "prego" means for a long time. Much speculation and guesses.

This morning, I sneeze.

"Bless you." (From Franco.)

"Thanks."

A moment later, I sneeze again.

"Salute." (Franco.)

"Grazie."

"Prego."

I jump on it and ask Franco to explain what "prego" means. It's a generic kind term used like "your welcome" (such as after someone says thank you - grazie) and also other situations, such as "after you" when you hold the door for someone, for example. I lucked out having 2 Italian bosses.
