guess what!

What follows is a full update on the status of my physical well-being:

I found Vega at Rainbow Grocery. Thank goodness I live in such a diverse city, full of independent grocery stores. I went straight after work and bought one of each flava -- chocolate, natural, and berry. Then I ate the natural one on the way back to the car. It was very yummy by the way. I also bought bananas and a papaya. Bananas for the potassium (good for sore muscles, no?) and papaya because don't they help healing also? Unfortunately neither fruits were very ripe.

I tried to eat a banana but they're gross when unripe in my opinion. So that was about it. I just took a hot shower, got in comfy clothes, and called it a night around 6pm. I tried to rest but I was really so sore and my back was so achy -- I even tried giving myself massages. My throat was still really painful on top of everything else. I really think it was those pomegranite seeds. They just tore up the back of my throat. I had decided not to get a massage to save money, but now I don't know, it probably would have helped, although I was too exhausted to get up and go anywhere anyways.

Anyway, I woke up this morning and my muscle soreness was gone! I was so relieved and grateful. I was in bed for 12 hours, it wasn't until the early morning when I woke up that I realised a lot of the pain was gone.

My throat is still sore and it hurts to swallow or talk, but it really doesn't have the cough-coming-soon feel. That's why I still think it was the pomegranite. No more pomegranite seeds. I'm going to spit them out in the future, not shred my throat to pieces.

I'm going to try another Vega bar at lunch. Insurance.

I'm debating about a massage tonight.
