i love my crowded little room
just watered the plants and i'm about to go to bed. tomorrow morning it's back to sl to pick up my bike which got a flat this week. i'll leave my car at my parents' and then take the bike back to sf to avenue cyclery where i shouldn't be charged labor (bought the bike there) and browse around gg park while i wait. hopefully the weather will be lovely again. i might check out the new museum but likely i'll be working on the pmemory course a bit.
today i saw sam-sam - quite a cute little baby. yes, i know all babies are supposed to be cute, but sam-sam's hair sticks up all over! it's adorable. and his name's sam-sam.
i've been thinking about that car. i'm ready to say bye bye. it needs $600+ in work. should i invest in it before selling it? here are all the problems with it that i can remember:
covered in the $20 estimate:
- replace battery (failed battery test)
- replace hose of some sort connecting something - the hose is cracked but until i hear actual grinding noises when i turn, i don't have to do it
- other stuff adding to $600 i forget, such as turning the tires (or something), replacing air filter, etc.
things i've noticed about my car that should be fixed that weren't on the estimate:
- air conditioning probably needs to be fixed/replaced
- driver's side window doesn't go down
- big glaring hole with wires sticking out where car dvd player used to be (stolen)
- door locks have independent, contrary personalities and need manual persuasion
What do you think of those fancy bullet points? That was brought to you courtesy of my Novedge training. :)
