I have been busy doing posting and scheduling for a new roomie. It's so time consuming. The big room is going to be free and while we have one person we've offered it to, he hasn't confirmed. He's going to give us his final answer tomorrow, and in the mean time we're going to do more scouting and interviews this weekend in case he declines the room or anything should fall through. Never hurts to have some backups.

In the past we've generally done open houses, but I'm not that fond of them. Perhaps they work well when it's just a studio or single person, couple occupying a single place, but when it's the roomie vibe you're trying to feel, I just find open houses stressful. You and the other roomies never have time to talk one on one with any of them, or half the roomies are talking to one and you're talking to another at a different time, and the whole thing is confusing. Often you'll end up with a group that's vying for your attention or you'll just end up with a large group conversation going. I'd much prefer getting them one by one and having them meet all of us at once, and then you generally get a good idea about them and lower the pressure for them also.

Anyway, so this weekend is just dotted with interviews, although the only time all 3 of us will be here is tomorrow night, however about half the respondents couldn't do that, so there'll only be 2 meeting all of us (at different times) tomorrow night. Oh well, at least I'll get to meet them all separately, not so many at once.

In general it's a popular room and most people who see it are very interested.

I'm going to clean up a bit more, clear my thoughts and such.
