Remember how mere weeks ago my room was tidy and organized and my life rote and stable?
Ever since I've come back from the cruise I haven't found my groove. The first 3 days were just plain dizzy and sleep-deprived. I'm a bit better now but I know tomorrow I'm sleeping as long as my body wants.
I've been attempting to return to my regular life but it's no fun when you're behind at work, sleepy, dizzy, and every where is cold. Except the sauna. (I discovered the YMCA sauna this week.) I got back to swimming but never had any great workouts. The first time I gave up after 1 lap because of the cold actually. But it was relaxing and leisurely to swim some of the other days when I warmed up a bit. I've also invested in my own locker and the towel service now that I'm using the sauna after I swim (it's up on the 4th floor with the women's locker room and between all the clothes changes and lugging my wheel bag between the gym, work, and home, I think the little holding locker will be $ well spent). I learned on the cruise about sweating out toxins so now I'm sweating out the chlorine after I go swimming. On a side note, it's too bad they don't let you use snorkels in the pool. That'd help my lap pace.
I have yet to unpack; that's just more work I've been putting off until after I'm better rested. I don't mind doing domestic things but not when I'm tired.
Should be a busy weekend for me, I hope I can get to all the things I'll be trying to do. Most of all I want to make sure I get enough sleep. Then it'd be really nice to have a tidy room again, keep in touch with the people I met on the cruise (their contact details are somewhere in the suitcases), send stuff to my nephews, load pics up, and blog about the cruise. Also need to plan some events that I'd put off until after the cruise. And tomorrow I'm going to the East Bay to visit my parents (and cat) and get my car. Miss peeps.

Well, the weekend is over now :'-(, how far did you come with all your chores? Hope you could manage them all, and that you will be less sleepy tomorrow at work. I'm going to try to be in bed within 30 minutes, hopefully to improve my sleepiness :-).

I was fairly good about laundry and putting away the suitcases but I still have all the stuff from the cruise itself to sort through. ..and I stayed up late watching 2 movies back-to-back which I told you about... bad dreams. So I'm still sleepy afterall, but it's my own fault.
