SF Wasted Food Fines: Waste Not, Want Not
I like the part about eliminating landfill by 2020.
It's a little bit slow at the office lately. Or rather, it has been. But now I have about a million SolidWorks to ship out and almost as many website transfers to do too. So goodbye for a while.
Most of next week I'm off! I'm going to DC for a conference and to pester the organization to do Type 1 studies. I'm excited, I love traveling. I like the weather over there too, it's usually warm. And biking is easy, no annoying hills. Although I like hills, I hate biking up them. Anyway, one of the days I'm going to rent a bike and see the museums along the mall again and the Ford Theatre, which I've kept missing for various reasons every time I've been there (twice before). I want to go to the Native American museum, it was closed last time I went. They have some collection thing on the top that collects rain water and then makes a waterfall. Then I also like the Botanical museum and some of the art ones... lots to see. I'm not a fan of dead stuffed animals... also the Space & Science museum I've seen maybe enough... there might be a bit more of that one I want to check out. I'm really looking forward to just being in the sun too. Get my vitamin D.
My free Saturday I think I'll check out Georgetown. Haven't seen that in a long time, I don't think. I'm not sure. Lots to do over there. So I'm looking forward to that, have to pack Sunday.
I'm going to be seeing a bunch of museums soon. Amy, Mirjam, and I will be checking out the Academy of Sciences in SF even though the yelp reviews don't all rave and I still think it's a bit of a rip. It'll still be fun.
Back to lunch and then work, hope everyone is doing well (thinking of my nephew here) and having a good day.

"I'm not a fan of dead stuffed animals" > good your waiting for a free day to visit the Academy of Sciences ;-). If I could buy a separate ticket just to visit the rain forest, I'd definitely do it. The rest isn't really that spectacular.
I'm glad Amy had a late start then, we ended up going on a peddle boat around Stowe Lake.. we'll try the Academy of Sciences when my zip is up for the free days in October. I'm still looking forward to the roof, aquarium, white alligator, and of course the rainforest. But no, not the mausoleum of dead animals..
