zzzzzzzzzzzz

I have been enjoying your respective blogs, so thanks for the updates.

My Photoshop is on the blink so I am relegated to order processing and website updates. Too bad. Photoshop is the best of my job duties.

Just to keep everyone in the loop:

Hayden, one of my old roommates, moved out with her boyfriend. Her cats had peed on her carpet so it had to be replaced or gotten rid of. The new roommate, Dan, wanted hardwood, so Peter (the landlord) ripped up the stinky carpet and had the hardwood sanded and polyurithaned/etc. Our landing area and the room itself smells incredibly toxic so Dan has been crashing in my room on Peter's folding bed. Which is a neat little cot in itself. It hasn't been a problem because Dan is considerate and the cot folds up nicely and gets out of the way. Not to mention my room is now relatively usable as I had donated those 3 boxes that had been lying around with stuff in them for a while.

Dan works nights at a restaurant. Last night he came home late and (I think) woke me up. I tried to tell him something about the cot but it went something like this:

me: you know, you can just move the sheets and stuff around and then the thing...

dan: what?

me: i forget the word.

dan: move the what?

me: (trying to think) the thing. not the bed. not the sheets.

dan: i don't understand what you mean.

me: (giggle fit starts) i can't remember the word!

dan: well what's it about?

me: something about the bed.

dan: are you ok?

me: (laughing uncontrollably) i forgot what i was trying to tell you!

dan: you are crazy.

Dan gets settled and falls asleep in a matter of minutes. He snores straight out of a cartoon. It's louder than my alarm clock. After all the laughing, his snoring, and me questioning my mental processes, I have a hard time sleeping but manage to get up ok when my alarm goes off.

Anyway, it was really funny but maybe you had to be there.
